Lyria's favourites: Bains des Paquis

Bains des Paquis

Geneva | Switzerland

Swiss bathers.

Built successively out of wood, on piled foundations and then definitively laid out in 1932, the Bains des Paquis (Paquis Baths) have existed since 1872.This place is considered a favorite summer haunt for Genevans, who meet there as soon as the good weather arrives in order to relax or do some sport. A watering place, turkish baths, massages and tai-chi are all on the programme on the Lake Geneva jetty. The reputation of the Bath's refreshment bar has long extended beyond the District’s borders.
